Description
Pinot Gris is made in many different styles. Some winemakers say they copy the Italian style while others pay homage to the French. In making this wine we have basically disregarded the old world styles and started from scratch. The flavour and acid balance of the grapes are paramount and hence picking time is critical. Once picked, the winemaking process is very protective and simple so as to maintain the flavours from the vineyard, not to add to them.

Tasting notes
Intense pear and lime aromas dominate but a delicate floral aroma adds complexity. The palate has very intense citrus fruit and great length of flavour. Crisp acidity balances the rich fruit and makes this wine very versatile when matching it to foods.
